In Memory of Ed Goldstein, Country Casual catalog CEO and Co-founder

It is with great sadness that we note the passing on August 18th of Ed Goldstein, 80, co-founder and CEO of Country Casual, a teak garden and site furniture cataloger. He died peacefully at home and without pain.

Ed, along with his wife of 56 years and co-founder, Bobbie were familiar faces at NEMOA conferences for many years. He was a true entrepreneur and always appreciated when others like him thought “out of the box”. He shared his knowledge and taught us well. Young at heart, a problem solver, always curious, with a great sense of humor and optimistic outlook on life, he was highly respected by colleagues and vendors and will be sorely missed. Our condolences go out to his wife, Bobbie and his son Dana, both of whom continue to run the business, as well as his other son, daughter and six grandsons.

Memorial donations can be made to: Friends of the High Line 529 West 20th Street, Suite 8W, New York, NY 10011. www.thehighline.org
