Mission Accomplished...For Now
House Postpones Mark Up of Postal Reform Bill;
Action By ACMA Members & Others Pays Off

Dear Industry Member:

While we're still far from the finish line, we're encouraged to report that the House Committee on Oversight & Reform has just postponed the mark up of its new Postal Reform bill originally set for this afternoon. A mark up of the bill, which lifts most major elements from President Obama's budget, will be rescheduled at a later date t/b/d.

Thanks to those many who took rapid action to encourage Committee Members to put off the mark up so to enable all interested parties the opportunity to understand what would be in the new bill. This certainly remains a very live issue. We will keep you posted and provide further suggestions for your additional activism as things develop.

Sincerely,

Hamilton Davison
