A Special Invitation to CEOs, Owners & Executive Officers
In the Catalog Industry...
Storm Capitol Hill With Other Catalog Execs;
Help Control Your Postal Future

You or a senior executive at your company may have recently received an invitation to an exclusive catalog-focused dinner with Postmaster General Megan Brennan on October 20th in Washington. Here are further details on the other events going on during that time, as well as a memo concerning the state of play legislatively. The Board of Directors of the American Catalog Mailers Association hope you will become involved with us.

You can make a unique impact. There are 535 Members of Congress and the more constituent representatives we bring to Capitol Hill, more productive meetings we can hold. Politicians listen to their constituents - we cannot make this impact without you. Companies with employees in the following states are especially needed both now and throughout this process, but catalog execs from all states can really make a difference.

Key states include California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

What's At Stake?
It is imperative that catalog execs reach out in force on Capitol Hill and make their needs known, both ACMA members and non-members alike. On Tuesday, October 20th, the ACMA Board of Directors, and member and non-member guests will visit Capitol Hill for meetings with members of Congress and their senior staffs to discuss proposed postal reform legislation now being circulated. Then that evening, we will be joined by a very special guest, Postmaster General Megan Brennan, for an intimate dinner discussion, solely focused on catalog industry concerns.

Our October visit is perfectly timed to create maximum momentum toward moving postal legislation. We will be meeting with those who control our fate. ACMA will arrange the schedule so we can leverage the power of a constituent in each meeting. We will also provide all the background, talking points, and other details so you are fully briefed and prepared. A professional lobbyist will accompany each group around the Capitol. For more on what's at stake, please click here.

CEOs, owners and other top officers of large and small businesses are encouraged to attend. The ACMA feels so passionately about the task at hand that we are making this entire event free to all attendees. However, attendance and rooms at the host hotel are both extremely limited. So if you are interested, please RSVP NOW: action@catalogmailers.org or call 1-800-509-9514.

Best Regards,
The Board of Directors of
