Chris Bradley Retires as President of Cuddledown; Norma Wilkins-Gross Named as Successor

Yarmouth, ME: Cuddledown, a luxury bedding and home fashions retailer, has announced the retirement of its president, Chris Bradley. Bradley’s leadership at Cuddledown began in 1988, when he formed an investor group to purchase the fledgling company. Since that time, he has successfully grown the business, increasing its workforce from fewer than 10 employees to over 100.

Bradley was passionate about making high quality bedding, and took pride in manufacturing down products (comforters, pillows and featherbeds) in Maine. During his 26 years leading Cuddledown, he worked closely with his team and many world-renowned mills to offer exclusive bedding designs through the Cuddledown catalog, website and retail stores.

Norma Wilkins-Gross, currently the Vice President of Merchandising, will assume the role of President. Wilkins-Gross has been with Cuddledown since 1994. Her career began as a buyer for Macy’s West, and she held subsequent managerial positions with Scandia Down and the Company Store prior to joining Cuddledown.

Commenting on her new role, Wilkins-Gross said, “Cuddledown has a dedicated team of employees, a well-established brand and beautiful high quality products.  It is an honor to carry on the legacy of the brand that Chris Bradley established.”

Cuddledown is a 42-year-old company dedicated to producing and selling the finest in home fashions. Offering pillows, comforters and featherbeds handcrafted in Maine, plus bedding, sleepwear and home décor, Cuddledown is known for its superior products and devotion to great customer service. Cuddledown became part of the Potpourri Holdings family of direct merchants in late 2012.
