You certainly know it takes money to make things happen. Here’s what you may not know: Postal Unions outspent mailers 8:1 to 64:1 over the last three years, depending on the year and metric. Recently, Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) broke ranks with her party’s leadership to take a stand for mailers when no one else would. Now, our industry must show the Senator some “love.” A great way to do that is to support an upcoming fundraiser for her re-election committee being organized by our mail coalition managers. While you are welcome to attend in person, support without attending is fully appropriate. Just like in business, money is the enabler in Washington. Will you help enable? I am happy to discuss this with you in more detail and answer any questions you may have.
