General Summary:
The Production Designer will support the creative production process – working closely with designers and the production coordinator to help deliver on all creative projects. The production designer is talented, enthusiastic, and has a well-rounded understanding of design principles and process. The production designer is self-motivated, talented, and enthusiastic, as well as highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.

Essential Job Function:
• Working within the brand framework and established templates, produce marketing materials that are consistent with the current look and feel of the KAF brand, including signage, web pages and emails.
• Responsible for supporting the creation and execution of design concepts as well as maintaining visual and brand continuity.
• Assist with page production of catalogues and publications.
• Coordinate production of in-house printed materials across all departments and divisions, including but not limited to signage, labels, inserts, booklets, brochures, sell sheets, forms, coupons, and recipe cards.
• Prepare packaging artwork and other files for printing (new and revised).
• Manage image assets via Digital Asset Management system.
• Take direction and work in a fast-paced, quick-turn environment.
• Be a contributing member of the creative team.
• Other design-related jobs as needed.

Qualifications:
Educational/Experience:
• Must have a minimum of 2 years design experience.
• Expert abilities with the Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
• Good working knowledge of four color pre-press and printing processes.
• BA/BFA in fine arts or graphic design.

Physical Requirements:
• Regularly sit for extended periods of time.
• Use computer equipment including keyboard, mouse and monitor 4-8 hours daily.
