Family-owned NC direct-to-consumer organization seeks an outstanding Email Marketer/ Content Manager to define and execute all facets of the company's email program, developing email communications strategies which support brand and corporate goals, and support daily content activity on our rapidly growing ecommerce platform.

The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively across teams, execute brilliantly and innovate. Additionally, this person will help design systems to measure and improve our email performance and consumer engagement across email and related channels by analyzing metrics and course correcting based on data.

Daily site content management including SEO/metadata content creation will also be a key role of this position.

Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Design and implement impactful and relevant email, landing page and modal pop-up window programs to grow our email list organically.
• Collaborate with our content and design teams to create sophisticated, ongoing email programs as well as one-off email campaigns to drive results.
• Use data to test and optimize email content and targeting for center communications.
• Segment databases based on consumer behavior in to create targeted messages and relevant content.
• Manage database lists, including opt-outs, bounces and catalog announcement lists.
• Define, report on, and optimize key performance metrics on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis - tying email and content performance back to corporate performance, and summarizing results for management and other teams.
• Help develop email strategy and best practices, and work with various teams to implement.
• Understand how all aspects of the marketing program, from opt-in and message content and design to delivery and list management, affect email deliverability.
• Identify, acquire, and integrate new tools and technologies for marketing automation.
• Manage all site content including new and current items, price changes, search terms, meta data, and web related copy.
• Update daily and weekly site management reports that pertain to website maintenance, and monitor and react to exception reporting.
• Create compelling and effective SEO copy for new products, maintain and update copy for existing products.

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of relevant digital marketing work experience with a focus on B2C email marketing and content management.
• Proven experience working with major email service platform (Bronto preferred,) industry tools and analytics packages including email, web analytics, CRM and marketing automation.
• Expertise with A/B testing methods.
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Creative writing skills a definite plus.
• Familiarity with methods for measuring and quantifying email performance.
• Familiarity with HTML and Magento platform preferred.
• Experience with other digital marketing disciplines (e.g. SEO/SEM, Web content, landing pages, online advertising) and integrated marketing campaigns is a plus.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong analytical background with ability to use data to drive decision making. Experience with Adobe Site Catalyst preferred.
• Ability to manage time and meet multiple deadlines with a variety of internal teams.
• Ability to conceptualize and execute projects, with strong bias for action and ability to prioritize.
• Demonstrated success planning and executing innovative marketing programs and gaining support for initiatives.
