Job Description

Vantage Deluxe World Travel is looking for a Vice President of Product Marketing/Brand Management. This candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing multi-channel marketing strategies including email, web, and direct mail for the respective division in order to achieve annual profit goals. Drive transition of team from a historically direct marketing driven focus to a web & interactive focus. Key metric will be increasing online bookings to 50% of total bookings by Year End 2014.

Responsibilities

P&L management – Achieve overall profitability for the Division by managing budgeted spend and NPC per program – to include cost to acquire across multiple channels, advertising spend and dilution

Responsible for creating integrated campaigns based on segment and ROI analysis and reacting to booking trends – capitalize on opportunities to offset shortfalls

Drive weekly team meetings to review results on Plan to fill and take recommended actions to get to Budget (start from Interactive)

Partner with key departments (Yield Management, CRM, SEO/SEM) to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual profit goals (i.e. monthly action plans, targeted offers)

Work in conjunction with Product Development and Costings on cost of goods plan, pricing plan for existing and new products.

Monitor the competition to ensure marketing strategy on the best value in the Deluxe Travel space
Manage Ad Spend budget & targeted offers to achieve results within budgetary constraints

Mandatory monthly attendance at off-site marketing meeting with full participation (1-2 overnights per month required)

Qualifications:
• 5-7 years of work experience in Marketing, with a strong digital marketing background
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing required (double major Finance would be a plus)
• Experience with detailed customer file segmentation; with the ability to analyze, understand, and take action based on key P&L metrics (Net Profit, ROI, Renewal Rate)
• Experience utilizing multi-channel marketing distributions – including email, web, and direct mail
• Ability to thrive in changing; fast, flexible, cooperative work environment & ability to reprioritize at a moment’s notice
• Strong attention to detail, organized, ability to multi task
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and create a team oriented environment
• Proficient MS Excel skills required
• Familiarity with Business Objects and Direct Services database provided helpful
• Familiarity with travel industry is a plus
