Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Marketing Budget Analyst for the administration and accuracy of marketing budgets including Interactive, Print & Client Renewal. The candidate should have strong Excel and system skills along with solid analytical and business judgment. The main goal is to track all marketing initiatives and ensure the highest return on investment. The candidate will have a significant impact on the business as they will be driving cost savings initiatives and recommending marketing plan improvements.

List of Responsibilities

• Validation of and subsequent monitoring of all advertising spend and ROI for Marketing initiatives, reconciling budget, reporting issues and driving corrective action.
• Marketing initiatives include: Interactive ROIs, Direct Mail ROIs, and reviewing advertising performance related to segmentation of our database.
• Work with the marketing teams to create the budget/forecast (Advertising, Customer Renewal, Requalification, and Interactive spend).
• Report on actual results vs. budget. Notify managers immediately of variances.
• Provide unit costs/spend to circulation to make better purchasing decisions on page count, format and quantity of catalog. Validate cost grids.
• Ensure invoices are reviewed for accuracy, paid on time and posted appropriately including allocation of spend to program trip code and departure date.
• Administer financial support for marketing managers and keep marketing managers on track to monthly finance deadlines
• Review Customer Renewal Marketing packages and report out on results.
• Provide financial controls over marketing department

Qualifications:
Required Skills and Experience

• BA/BS or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance or related discipline. MBA a plus.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience working in financial support role within a large marketing organization, familiarity with marketing industry.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills with a can do attitude.
• Experience working with Google Analytics to review website marketing initiatives.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Microsoft Access, and database tools.
• Familiar with Great Plains-Microsoft Dynamics a plus.
• Ability to read & analyze reports and react quickly.
