The Web Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing and maintaining The Vermont Country Store website, and for developing and implementing new features and functionality. Working with both internal teams and external vendors and contractors, this role requires a strong technical background in e-commerce to support the day-to-day running of the site. The Web Operations Specialist will ensure that we keep our site updated in order to meet our customers’ expectations and to maximize conversion.

• Passionate about practical and hard to find products that delight customers with the memories they bring?

• Contributed to a mid/large scale growing e-commerce site?
• A solid understanding of Site Catalyst, Google Analytics and other data feeds?
• A proficient knowledge of coding and a variety of technical languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)?

• Apply initiative to help meet company goals, as well as help to move the company forward?
• Act as a strong subject-matter expert on The Vermont Country Store website and its 3rd party integrations?

Qualifications:
Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or a related field preferred
• 2-3 years in an e-commerce marketing environment required
• Experience supporting a busy and growing e-commerce site
• Significant vendor management
