FreshAddress, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager to help cement its leading market position in the email database services space. OVERVIEW
The Business Development Manager is responsible for defining, locating, developing, negotiating, and closing business relationships to integrate our email database services with key partners/platforms. The position will have a special focus on integrating the FreshAddress’s real-time SafeToSend™ email hygiene solution with leading POS (point-of-sale) providers, ESPs, web hosting sites, and data entry centers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop strategic plan for penetrating market, identify top prospects, and set priorities in consultation with Executive Management and Product Management
• Pursue potential partners and screen business deals in light of market strategies, deal requirements, revenue potential, ease of integration, and financial requirements
• Structure relationships, negotiate agreements, and close new business deals
• Research and maintain industry/vertical and competitive knowledge by staying on top of industry trends, networking, and participating in educational opportunities and professional organizations.

Qualifications:
• Hungry self-starter who is driven to succeed
• Track record of relationship building and sales in past positions, closing deals at VP level
• Knowledge of email marketing, database management, POS, and web hosting verticals
• Strong organizational abilities and experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

EDUCATION
• 4 year College Degree and MBA preferred

EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 5 years of sales and business development experience, preferably in the email marketing industry and/or POS industry
