Purpose of Position

This position will be working with the Director of Circulation & Database Marketing, Marketing Vice President, and multiple external vendors to support the planning and implementation of the PetEdge strategic plans and growth initiatives including customer retention and acquisition goals. The position will provide research, determine and apply appropriate complex analytical methods and provide a summary of results and recommend solutions to a variety of problems.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
• Create and maintain weekly and monthly reports
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting for departments of the company
• Work with Information Technology team to ensure data reliability
• Select and deliver required data to third parties for direct mail and analytics.
• Responsible for the quality of data in data warehouse.

Qualifications:
Required Position Skills
• Have demonstrable analytical skills. Solid understanding of both algebra and statistics is preferred.
• Be able to pull together information from multiple sources and make recommendations and decisions.
• Have the ability to successfully work with a variety of software applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and database tools such as SAS, Access or SQL.
• A working knowledge of SPSS and other desktop analytical tools is preferred by not required.
