Garnet Hill, a growing high-end multi-channel marketer specializing in original designs in clothing and home décor is seeking a Promotions Specialist to join our team.
JOB SUMMARY:
Assist the Director of Integrated Marketing in the planning, maintenance, execution and analysis
of Garnet Hill’s promotional and contact efforts.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with Marketing and Merchandising to develop promotions to accelerate response rates while meeting contribution goals
• Maintain, publish and communicate promotional schedules and calendars
• Review and proof all promotional material for accuracy prior to publication, including but not limited to, catalog PDFs, stage before web live, emails and all fine print
• Facilitate and lead meetings to communicate promotional strategies; provide plans and direction to all departments
• Maintain and update source codes and promotions in the Mozart and WebSphere systems to ensure accuracy, proper functionality and parity between all systems and plans
• Prepare analysis reports for meetings, promotional results, etc., as needed
• Back up Circulation and Email teams as necessary to ensure there is always coverage within the contact team, i.e. launching of emails and maintenance of merge documents to keep processes on track
• Support the budgeting and reforecast process
• Provide support for Marketing invoice database, working with Finance to ensure invoices are correct and paid on time
• Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business
•Validate that promotional plans meet margin guidelines and promotional goals are met
Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree and/or related work experience
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and Access
• Experience with Mozart or similar order fulfillment management system a plus
SKILLS:
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in leading meetings and disseminating information, with the ability to motivate and influence cross-functional teams
• Ability to react to a fast-paced, ever-changing business environment
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment
