Overview :

The Email Campaign Specialist configures accurate assets and creative components for each customer facing email including test versions on a daily basis. This entails mapping each version to the correct customer segment such as versioning subject lines, pre-headers, banners, email slicing, links, images, retail store events/market testing and promotions. This role rotates with 2 email team members on the development of the HTML code and q/c for all promotional emails to ensure accurate links, tracking parameters, optimal rendering on all domains and devices. This position utilizes a ESP application tool to set up each email campaign version accurately for the deployment of daily campaigns. This role also manages two outside vendors including the ESP relationship and another partner for monitoring the transactional email messaging such as rotating, testing and q/c of the appropriate global marketing banners on all ship and order confirms, and retail e-receipts.

The Email Campaign Specialist will be responsible for:

• Coding all customer facing emails utilizing HTML, Litmus q/c by domain & device, link testing.
• The set-up of deployment within the ESP tool.
• Developing and implementing new trigger email campaign logic within the ESP tool inclusive of building persistent test and control audiences and incorporating dynamic content.
• Performing customer segmentation for outbound emails utilizing the Smart Focus tool within the customer marketing database.

Responsibilities :

• Accountable for assembling and deploying outbound email campaign versions utilizing outside service provider’s application tool inclusive of all trigger logic and utilization of dynamic content.
• Responsible for the development and execution of all HTML coding of customer facing emails including tracking parameters and image link optimization.
• Share in the responsibility for complete testing and QA of email functionality, tracking and display thru Litmus tool inclusive of testing links across multiple devices.
• Participate in rotation of backing up the Senior Email Campaign Analyst inclusive of performing customer email segmentation and test development utilizing the Smart focus tool within the Customer Marketing Database.

Qualifications :

• Email Marketing experience is required
• Experience with a major ESP tool is required
• HTML coding and Dreamweaver tool expertise required
• CSS (Cascade Style Sheets) Responsive Design experience required
• Strong aptitude with MS Office tools, especially advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Highly collaboration necessary as this role works closely on a daily basis with several departments
• Strong attention to detail with good organization and time management skills
• Ability to multi-task, juggle multiple assignments, prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines
• High energy, positive “can do” attitude and self-motivated
• 4-year Bachelor’s degree required
• 4+ years of Marketing experience required
• 4+ Email Marketing experience required
