Marketing Overview
Country Casual Teak sells its products in both Business to Business and Business to Consumer markets and employs a broad range of marketing tools including catalogs, an e-commerce website, digital marketing programs, direct mail, display advertising, trade shows and inside sales.

Job Summary
Both strategic and tactical, the Director of Marketing identifies, develops, and implements effective direct marketing and e-commerce strategies to expand the customer base, increase brand awareness, and drive revenue growth. The Director of Marketing ensures consistent corporate messaging that reflects Country Casual Teak’s brand image and marketing goals.

Initially, the primary focus of this role will be on B2B, with opportunity for a broader role moving forward. The Director of Marketing will manage a small core marketing team supplemented with external sources to cover all functional areas.

Year One (1) Goals and Objectives
• Develop a multi-year plan to shift from channel centric to customer segmented marketing.
• Analyze market segmentation to a) determine critical target markets and develop and implement focused marketing strategies to increase growth in target markets; b) create customer contact strategies that drive revenue and decrease costs.
• Establish and maintain metrics, data, and quantitative measures to develop and drive multi-channel marketing plans.
• Critically evaluate the look, feel, and messaging of all marketing channels to ensure alignment with brand.

Job Responsibilities
• Manage the Country Casual Teak e-commerce website to optimize user experience and to maximize accessibility to content that supports marketing programs to increase site traffic, visitor conversion rate, and average order size.
• Manage the development and implementation of promotional campaigns for print catalogs, display advertising, direct mail, and promotional material.
• Develop and implement strategies for digital marketing programs, e.g. email, display (both acquisition and retargeting), search, etc.
• Work closely with product development on content and design of all marketing materials for website content, advertising, as well as trade and retail catalogs.
• Work with sales to expand outreach programs and local marketing activities.
• Hire, manage, mentor, and motivate staff. Lead by example and foster teamwork, energy, and focus toward common goals.


Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business or communications.
• 7-10 years multi-channel B2B marketing experience selling merchandise. B2C marketing and marketing of high end products are both pluses.
• Thorough understanding of market segmentation and ability to develop and utilize metrics to execute data driven marketing programs.
• Management of email marketing, SEM, SEO, web analytics, on-line sales and advertising.
• Keen understanding of branding.
• Knowledge of Marketing Automation, CRM is required. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics would be a plus.
• Demonstrated track record of collaboratively managing complex business issues cross-functionally
• Must be capable of constructively challenging existing business practices and developing alternate solutions which drive improved business results.
• Ability to manage internal and external projects to schedule and budget
• Experience hiring and managing both direct reports and external agencies.
