JOB SUMMARY:

Concepts, designs and produces compelling, brand-appropriate creative for retail signage, packaging, on-product marketing, corporate communications and identity, advertising, direct mail and various print collateral.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Designs, develops and produces dynamic, brand-appropriate visuals that reinforce and enhance the marketing strategy and seasonal concepts across multi-channels
• Understands storytelling through fashion photography
• Works on all stages of creative from concept through release, as well as checking color proofs
• Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with copywriters, marketing, visual, merchandising and other team members to develop creative solutions
• Manages and mentors junior team members
• Participates in seasonal creative concepts and aligns retail with all other channels

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Strong command of typography
• Expert knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Solid understanding of woven and printed label design as well as packaging design
• Highly organized, flexible and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy and meeting established deadlines
• Must be team-oriented and exhibit strong interpersonal, presentation and leadership skills
• Must possess proactive problem solving skills complimented by good communication skills


Qualifications:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• BFA In Graphic Design
• 7+ yrs combined creative, graphic design and art direction experience with an emphasis on women’s fashion in retail
