POSITION SUMMARY:  
This role will be responsible for executing marketing business intelligence initiatives related to the acquisition and retention strategies of the company.  The analysis and reporting responsibilities for this role include all FULLBEAUTY Brands titles.  The position encompasses an analytical and research capacity, as well as the ability to communicate clearly.
 
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Measure and report on business productivity measures, including customer file growth by segment, acquisition rates for new customers, and retention rates and rebuy rates among the installed base of FBB customers
• Analyze marketing campaign effectiveness, including reporting at high levels (monthly and seasonal roll-ups) as well as granular levels (segment etc.). Refresh and update periodic sales reports.
• Help maintain the annual Media Plan and update sales bridges, waterfall reports, customer counts, file health reports etc.
• Maintenance of periodic “flash sales” reports (daily/weekly/monthly/seasonal)
• Forecasting, projecting-to-complete and recalculating results in-season, in order to properly trend and predict end-of-season and end-of-year results and outcomes
• Measure and communicate the outcomes of marketing tests
• Use data mining techniques and analyze sales trends in order to improve customer retention and acquisition.
• Translate raw data into presentable and easily understandable findings for the brand marketing teams.
• Maintain reporting on list results – including list history reports for offline prospecting
• Support the preparation of business plans and periodic business reviews to executives, vendors and stakeholders
• Ad-hoc reporting and support of new report development as needed
• Liaise with peers in finance, merchandise, brand team, and marketing


Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree required. Degree or concentration in business, mathematics, statistics and/or data analysis is a plus.
• 2+ years of practical business experience, preferably in a retail or multi-channel marketing/analytics environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• An exhibited capability to improve on a process, and to create and deploy reporting that improves efficiency
• Ability to learn to be self-sufficient and “deep dive” to do the work of data acquisition as well as an ability to analyze and communicate results clearly and effectively
• Ability to think critically and solve problems
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
• Ability to work under pressure, manage frequent overlapping demands and show high attention to detail
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with MS are prerequisites. Experience with BI tools, CRM tools, campaign management and/or data visualization tools (e.g. SAS, SQL, Tableau, etc.) preferred. Experience with Visual DBA a plus.
