With a focus on value and style, Blair offers women\'s and men\'s apparel and accessories, as well as decor and furnishings for every room in the home. \r\n\r\nWhat you\'ll do: \r\n-Directs the efforts of the Womenswear Merchandise Team including merchants and support staff.\r\n-Manages, coaches, mentors, recruits and motivates Womenswear associates in order to provide an environment for continuous improvement and career development. Responsible for individual and team evaluation and the creation of a continuous feedback plan.\r\n-Directs the workflow of the Offer Coordinator / Information Specialist to obtain and review result metrics and assortment planning for the merchandising of all direct mail and e-commerce sales vehicles.\r\n-Collaborates with Creative Team for the merchandising of all direct mail and e-commerce sales vehicles.\r\n-Participates in regular communications and interactions with Customer Service in order to enhance and update customer and merchandise knowledge and understanding.\r\n-Creates yearly Womenswear merchandising time and action calendar and integrates that calendar within the corporate calendar. This includes schedules for vendor visits, market trips, line reviews, in-house presentations and catalog merchandising sessions.\r\n-Collaborates with Merchandise Planning to identify and build strategically appropriate merchandise assortments and profitability to grow market share and meet the needs of the customer.\r\n-Oversees all product development/sourcing plans and approves final product adoptions.\r\n-Maintains a strong presence in the marketplace by attending trade shows, reviewing fabric lines, shopping stores and catalogs, and working with suppliers on product development / execution.\r\n-Communicates with both domestic and overseas vendors on a regular basis to assess market conditions, supplier stability and analyze product costing.\r\n-Maintains a close working relationship with the Sourcing Team, including regular workflow analysis and overseas travel.\r\n-Collaborates with Design and oversees product development for assigned product line, insures that merchandise selected is appropriate to strategy and targets and meets all initial gross margin goals.\r\n\r\n

Qualifications:
What you'll need:
-Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and ten years merchandising experience in the direct marketing field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Intermediate skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
