We are also known as one of the premier employers in the Central Wisconsin area and we are currently seeking to add a Direct Response Marketing Manager to our team. Position Summary: The Direct Response Division markets directly to consumers via web, email and catalog marketing channels. The Direct Response Marketing Manager will work to create, forecast and implement catalog, e-commerce and company store sales campaigns with the overall goal of achieving division sales and profit goals. The Holiday season represents a significant focus in terms of planning and execution due to the high seasonal order volume.


Qualifications:
Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop and create marketing budget sales goals by month/year for mail order and store collaborating with key partners
• Develop and distribute analytic KPI assessments of all division sales campaigns, results of which provide critical business insights and actionable findings
• Provide guidance to Catalog Operations Manager and Ecommerce Manager in development and implementation of productive circulation plans
• Work with mailing list brokers and cooperative representatives to gather valid background on prospect list segments; create list models that lead to productive prospect marketing
• Build quantities of critical in-house customer list segments to deliver optimum sales from marketing campaigns
• Maintain high levels of hygiene on in-house customer files; manage mail list merge/purge and buyer matchback activities

• Track and analyze catalog marketing costs; create product demand and order forecasts for all division sales campaigns
• Assist Catalog Operations Manager as necessary in contact planning, preparing RFP for catalog printing, print bid analysis and management of non-catalog specialty mailings
• Create and maintain master division calendar including all planned sales campaigns for catalog, ecommerce and retail store profit centers
• Work with Direct Response Division Director, Merchandise Manager, Fulfillment Team to integrate merchandising and marketing strategies, achieve division sales and profit goals
• Maintain open communications with Director, Direct Response Division, President/COO and all management team members to address and overcome operating issues and difficulties; develop and maintain positive internal relationships to minimize negative effects of “communication by impression”
• Assure that all actions taken with regard to direct report and associates are in accordance with established company policies
• Perform special assignments as requested by Director, Direct Response Division or President
• Identify, develop, or evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
• Use sales forecasting or strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.
• Initiate market research studies or analyze their findings.
• Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect the outcomes.

Position Requirements
This position requires a seasoned marketing manager with at least 5-7 years’ experience managing catalog and email circulation, customer acquisition and retention in a business-to-consumer catalog/ecommerce company or division. Successful candidate will have well-developed skills in catalog/ecommerce contact and circulation planning, and comprehensive analytic assessment. Proven leadership and relationship-building skills, marketing degree and/or equivalent experience required. In addition, strong computer skills to perform work in databases, spreadsheets and develop presentations is required.
