Job Summary:

Primary responsibility is to work with the Sr. Marketing Manager on timely and efficient execution of all promotions, updating the annual / quarterly marketing and promotional calendar and the communication to all cross-functional teams. This position will also support brand marketing and media initiatives including national and geo-targeted print and digital programs as well as strategic partnership programs.
Additionally, this candidate must be a strong communicator and collaborator with an ability to distill marketing information in a way that provides background and perspective to our associates and store operations team.

Essential Functions:
Promotions:
• Assist Manager with maintaining the marketing and promotional calendar and visual marketing cross-channel overview ensuring timely communication to key functional teams
• Communicates promotional details to key stake-holders (ops, inventory, marketing and marketing)
• Works with Inventory/Planning/Merchandising teams to understand promotions details and promotional updates that occur
• Communicates all promotional changes/updates/additions to promotion execution team via promotional form including disclaimers, product list, barcodes
• Manages promotion disclaimers by providing accurate disclaimers to marketing and creative as well as reviewing promotional creative to ensure message and disclaimer are correct
National and Local Media:
• Develops and maintains the annual media calendar as well as overview of all print and digital assets
• Works directly with media agency and creative team on the development and execution of brand marketing digital national, grand opening and local marketing banners
• Creates year over year comparison of digital creative and key metrics to highlight and optimize performance
• Works with creative and production on the execution of print ads and partnership material
• Support manager with the logistics and materials for the media partnership events.
• Assists Manager with the communication of all media activities to the field and call center.
• Works with media agency on competitive media assessment.
• Assists with media budget forecast, purchase orders and expense management.


Qualifications:

Knowledge & Skills:
• Strong analytic skills.
• Marketing foundation and creative development/process experience.
• Word, Excel, and strong PowerPoint skills a must.

Education & Experience:
• Bachelors Degree and preferably 1-3 years of an entry level marketing job or marketing-focused internship
