POSITION PURPOSE The Data Analyst will develop and analytics for the lifecycle Advertising campaigns and direct response campaigns

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & BASIC DUTIES We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.
You will conduct full lifecycle activities to include requirements analysis and design, develop analysis and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. This is, data-driven, and customer-centric position that partners with business leaders across The Journeys Group to be responsible for driving customer analytics and strategy.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for oversight of relational database and data management for all customer sources, including data quality, process flow and customer capture
• Create, write and maintain reports as needed for internal and external data requests and needs
• Analyze large sets of customer data and segment information into appropriate groups, categories, and demographics for optimal strategic implementation
• Mine and synthesize customer and product data to identify trends, describe customer behavior to drive customer-centric decision making
• Develop new customer-level reporting to answer key customer, marketing and business strategy questions
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with various functional areas, including field, Division and Corporate personnel
• Own and manage projects or work streams as relates to larger CRM strategy and marketing projects, including identification of key issues, development of hypotheses, analysis, conclusions, and presentation of findings
• Must be a self-starter and should be able to initiate and complete assignments with little to no supervision.



Qualifications:

• Requires 3+ years of data analyst experience preferably in a multi-channel retail environment
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
• Ability to analyze data and work independently
• Demonstrate excellent analytical, logical reasoning and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Education
• BS degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or Marketing and/or equivalent experience

Preferred
• Proficient in SQL coding is a plus.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills (pivot tables, advanced functions, Visual Basic..etc) a plus
