A Day in the Life
The Associate Art Director designs and assembles seasonal catalogs and collateral in keeping with the current trend and the Garnet Hill unique brand and vision for the future.
• Design and assemble seasonal catalog pages and collateral within established timelines
• Works with Art Director and VP of Creative on continuously evolving and enhancing the overall look of Garnet Hill print in accordance with brand, product offerings and industry best practices
• Support the VP of Creative and Art Director in working with Merchandising to gather, determine and maintain information on products that need to be shot for print
• Assist with art direction at New Hampshire studio, New York and/or on location when necessary

Qualifications:

Must Haves
• 2+ years experience in publication design
• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Arts or equivalent work experience
• Understanding of corporate identity, branding, layout, color theory and typography for print
• Advanced skills with latest versions of InDesign, PhotoShop, Acrobat, Illustrator

Nice to Haves
• Ability to take on multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Flexibility to react to a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
