A Day in the Life
The Technical Analyst will support the Data and Analysis Group in three primary areas: technical support for internally coded applications, general business analysis for the organization, and data management/end-user support of reporting and planning systems.
• Take a proactive approach to identifying reporting, data, and systems needs and develop and implement solutions
• Assist departments with analysis to help ensure consistency in methodology and data sources
• Design, build and maintain tools, reports and databases to be used by departments
• Develop functional and technical documentation and test plans
• Identify and facilitate systems integration opportunities

Qualifications:

Must Haves
• 5+ years experience in programming application systems using related technologies programming languages
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
• Proven expertise in Excel, Access, SSIS, SQL, VB.NET, SSRS, Visual Studio 2005 and forward
• Knowledge of applications programming theory, principles and practices

Nice to Haves
• Familiarity with Mac environment a plus
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Strong business acumen
