Overview: The Vice President of Creative, a key member of the Executive team, is an instrumental business leader focused on building and maintaining brand integrity for multiple brands across channels (web, print, retail). The role leads and inspires large Creative teams responsible for all facets of brand expression and user experience. The right candidate will be a natural and proven leader of teams — developing and motivating a wide array of creative talent to ensure effective and inspired presentations. S/he will facilitate and strengthen inter-departmental communications and collaboration, while also being driven, proactive and resourceful in driving efforts to meet business goals and strategies. The Vice President of Creative will thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while consistently modeling values of leadership, teamwork, adaptability and continuous improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
• Provide creative management, strategic direction and process optimization for a large multichannel, multiple-brand organization.
• In conjunction with Marketing and Merchandising departments, produce effective and best-in-class customer-facing communications and experiences that reflect each brand’s unique personality and appeal to each brand’s customer profile(s).
• Ensure these creative efforts are successful across multiple channels including e-commerce (desktop, mobile, tablet), email, catalog, print and online advertising, retail stores, social media, and public relations.
• Provide leadership, motivation and inspiration to talented Creative teams comprised of Print Designers, Interaction Designers, Art Directors, Creative Directors, Copy Directors, Copywriters, Photographers, Videographers, Stylists, Producers, Grips, and Creative Operations staff.
• Ensure projects are within budget, scope and timelines – within Creative divisions and across departments.
• Leverage technical solutions and workflow optimization that will improve efficiencies and processes involving Creative production and outputs.
• Maintains awareness of marketplace “best practice” and industry trends (across channels and technologies).
• Serve as an ambassador for the company’s C.L.E.A.R. Values

Qualifications:
The requirements listed below represent the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required, to perform job function:
• College degree or equivalent work experience
• 15+ years of increasing levels of responsibility and experience in creative environments, with the majority of those years focused on expertly leading creative teams
• Superior strengths in brand development, design (print, digital), editorial, and creative process
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and inspire at all levels
• Demonstrated strategic and critical thinking skills
• Innate capabilities in multi-tasking, organization, adaptability
• Works well under pressure, thrives in a multi-faceted work environment
• Advanced knowledge of Mac platforms, Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficiency in use of Content Management Systems and Asset Databases
• Moderate level of experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Knowledge of web offset and rotogravure printing
