SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Statistical Analyst / Predictive Modeler will help define and develop a modeling data infrastructure at Road Scholar for International, domestic, afloat(cruises)and targeted campaigns utilizing advanced statistical software; heavy data sets, gain tables, scoring customer databases, and custom predictive response model/tools. The Statistical Analyst/Predictive Modeler will develop, execute, and maintain all processes therein-- while providing timely scoring to the mailing team, and collaborating with Mktg.catalog and IT teams.

Responsibilities:
• Develop Predictive Response Models for customers, prospects and expired customers
• Validate test and deploy scoring algorithms to the marketing database
• Test third party data for the ability to contribute appreciably to model discrimination
• Conduct post mailing review of model performance against expectations
• Develop decile depth test plans in coordination with the mailing team
• Serve as contact for all modeling needs- ensuring timely and efficient deliverables
• Develop next-generation analytic approaches where current generation approaches are not adequate

Qualifications:
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, economics, and data sciences). PhD's preferred.
• Advanced data mining and predictive modeling skills (e.g., regression, segmentation, machine learning, SEM, MCMC, Bayesian, boosting, cross-validation)
• Advanced statistical software user (SAS and R strongly preferred)
• Passion for the future of data analytics- and desire to help shape it a plus!
• Analytical, strategic, innovative and flexible team player
• Must be authorized to work in the US unrestricted- indefinitely
